I am Karlyn stanley
I grew up in Wisconsin, but moved to Tennessee during high school and I've called it home ever since. I'm the oldest of six kids with five younger brothers (including the youngest being twins), so chaos, noise, and real-life moments have always been a part of my world. I think that’s a big reason why I love photographing families. I’m completely at home in the middle of the beautiful, imperfect moments.
I married the most amazing man in 2020, and that season of life is what inspired me to begin capturing weddings. Experiencing that joy firsthand made me fall even more in love with the idea of preserving those once-in-a-lifetime memories for others.
My husband and I share our home with our two dogs - a dachshund mix and a malinois/german shepherd mix, and recently welcomed our first child, a baby boy into the world. Becoming a mom has given me an even deeper appreciation for photography and the importance of documenting those moments that pass by far too quickly.

The Studio
Located in goodlettsville, TN.
My love for studio photography started when I was just 16 years old. I was hired to work at a local photo studio, where I first learned the ins and outs of lighting, posing, and creating timeless portraits. What started as my first job quickly became the foundation for the photographer I am today.
Years later, life came full circle when the woman who first hired me and mentored me became my business partner. Today, we own the studio together and continue creating a space where families can come to capture meaningful moments.
Our studio allows us to photograph sessions indoors using professional lighting equipment rather than relying on natural light. This means we can create consistent, high-quality images year-round, no matter the weather or time of day.
We offer a variety of setup options including clean, classic backdrops, seasonal sets, and fully designed scenes depending on the type of session. We also have a selection of props available for clients to use, but you’re always welcome to bring meaningful items from home to make your photos even more personal.
